We’re excited to bring you the stories of The Desens House as they happen. Right now, that means stories about the challenges we face as we begin our journey as a group of people dedicated to making The Desens House a reality. That includes the challenges of negotiating with governments, connecting with people in our community, and the hard work of remodeling the building we purchased in a home for the women who will come here. Our beginnings will include victories and failures, laughter and frustrations. We invite you come with us and we want to hear your story too.
I am excited to see this become truth and moving forward and I would also love to donate my time to help other women, as I have been in recovery over a year and my faith was a huge part of that. 😁
